THE POWER OF STRATEGIC GOAL SETTING

Here’s a quick recap of the last post:

  1. I was taking all these badass photos for my clients…
  2. …but they didn’t know how to use them for their marketing….
  3. …So I helped them!

Today, I want to tell you a story about my son. (I promise it’s relevant).

A few months ago, he asked for a Nintendo Switch.

Since I’m a hardworking mama who can think of about 897+ things I’d rather spend $300+ on, I thought this would be a great learning experience for him.

Don’t look at me like that… we’ve all done this.

So, #TheMidglet and I determined how many weeks of allowance he would need to save to reach his revenue goal.

From there… he lost interest.

But if he were a client we would have put together a strategic marketing plan that would allow him to gain more clients through intentional, planned marketing tactics.

You get the idea.

Just like my kiddo, it’s important that entrepreneurs are also considering their revenue goals when they put their marketing strategies in place.

Many people don’t realize that the first step of a successful marketing strategy is identifying your goal.
